Albert L. Patterson III is chairman of the board and president of NI. With his leadership and insight on Army and global business development, he provides guidance and support in strengthening worldwide operations. Mr. Patterson manages NI’s day-to-day business and is responsibility for cultivating, establishing and managing strategic objectives. Additionally, he provides the vision to drive the financial management responsibility for this rapidly expanding global company. From 1983 to 1997 Mr. Patterson served as an Aviation Branch officer in various command and staff positions. He served as Battalion Commander of an AH-1 Cobra equipped attack helicopter battalion in the Republic of Korea and as Commander, 1st Aviation Brigade at Ft. Rucker Alabama with an organization containing deployable AH-64D Apache equipped attack helicopter battalion and Combat Heavy Engineer Construction Battalion. Additionally, he was responsible for leader development of Aviation Branch CPTs, LTs, and WOs. His service culminated with assignment in the Pentagon as Chief of Aviation Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. Since its inception in 2005, NI has grown into a highly capable business with over 316 employees and approximately $38.3M in annual revenues.
Bill serves as Navigator International’s executive manager responsible for all functional areas of operations to include information systems, quality control systems, contract proposals, negotiation, and execution, financial management of all purchasing, facility maintenance, labor levels, and employee promotions, customer satisfaction, forecasting of operational requirements, strategic planning for sustainment, growth, and expansion, compliance oversight, and marketing. Mr. Baker is a retired US Army Sergeant Major. Over his 24-year progressive Army career he gained extensive experience in many facets of Army Aviation; He was a terminal / enroute air traffic controller and airspace manager for 1st Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Division, 5th Corps, 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps, Southern European Task Force, and 3rd Army. His experience in tactical air traffic control, airspace management systems and simulation devices resulted in the maturing and acceptance of unique airspace requirements for joint and combined military special operations forces in Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bosnia, Northern Iraq, Haiti, and Somalia. Mr. Baker is a combat veteran who served in operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Provide Comfort. He holds an associates, bachelors and master’s degree in business administration from Troy University.
Sertac introduced the concept supplying construction materials to US Embassy projects to support numerous overseas sites. He started as the project manager of the program and held various positions in Sales & Marketing in construction business during the past 9 years. His responsibilities include: determine required materials from architectural plans, locate and arrange local and international vendors, international travel to vendor / customer locations, recommend design solutions, negotiate contracts, create bill of materials, develop shop drawings and submittal packages, track materials during shipment, coordinate loading and deliver to final jobsite in overseas locations, procure export documents in US and import at other countries, installation consultation to ensure proper installation and adequate materials according to ensure compliance with US Department of State Overseas Building Operation’s requirements.
Sertac received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Auburn University at Montgomery, Montgomery, Alabama, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. He is fluent in Turkish and English..
Ben Patterson began working for Navigator International, LLC (NI) in 2010 after attending Troy
University and Atlanta Institute of Music. Bringing technical capabilities from his previous jobs in
construction and fabrication, as well as knowledge in audio visual systems from his musical background,
Mr. Patterson became a 3D Advanced Visualization Center Installation Technician with Navigator
Technologies, LLC. In 2012 Ben became a Certified Telecommunications Technician through the Building
Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) and mobilized to Erbil, Iraq to execute a U.S.
Department of State contract to install the structured cabling system at the Erbil Diplomatic Support
Center. This contract began his career with Navigator International, LLC (NI). Upon his return, Ben
assisted in project estimation, scheduling, proposal development, Health Safety Environmental (HSE)
program management, and was also given the assignment of establishing construction capabilities for NI
within the United States. In 2013, he became a licensed Commercial General Contractor in the State of
Alabama. The following year, he was promoted to General Manager of NI. As General Manager of NI,
Ben was responsible for domestic business development, bookkeeping/accounting, human resources, as
well as being the Project Manager for NI’s Enterprise Alabama Branch Office renovation project. When
Hurricane Michael ravaged the Gulf Coast of Florida in October of 2018, Mr. Patterson and his team
aided in the relief efforts in the affected areas of Bay, Gulf, Franklin, and Leon Counties. This effort
included debris removal and cleanup, renovation, and new facility installation for various clients to
include Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative, Bay County Fire Department, the United States Air Force
(Tyndall AFB), and several private sector clients. After the successful execution of multiple contracts to
construct a total of 26 Sprung Structures with associated utilities at Tyndall AFB, NI officially established
the Domestic Construction Division and promoted him to Vice President over the division. As Vice
President of Domestic Construction, he has continued to expand NI’s area of operations throughout the
United States and developed relationships with multiple building system manufactures, establishing NI
as a world leader in structural installation and general contracting services.
